Mix & Match Stays operates as the Merchant of Record (MOR) for all bookings made through the platform, acting as the principal seller of accommodation to the customer. We source hotel inventory at net rates from our technology partner, and set the customer-facing price inclusive of our service margin. Our revenue is the difference between the net rate paid to our inventory partner and the rate charged to the customer.
We do not own or operate any hotel or accommodation. The underlying hotel room rates and accommodation taxes are set by the hotel or our inventory partner — these are not additional charges levied by Mix & Match Stays. Accommodation taxes on the net rate are the responsibility of the relevant hotel or accommodation provider.
Every booking made through the platform has full traceability from the customer through to the hotel. Payment processing is handled by Revolut, our regulated payment provider.
We aim to resolve complaints quickly and fairly. Where applicable, users may be directed to an alternative dispute resolution scheme.
